IPv6 and DNSSEC Session Videos from ION Trinidad and Tobago Now Online

On Thursday, 5 February, we held our second ION Conference of the year. We hosted ION Trinidad and Tobago in collaboration with the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU) and its ICT Week, where we invited the local ISOC Chapter, and of course discussed lots of IPv6 and DNSSEC topics. Now, all the presentation and video archives are available online.

Video Archives

At ION Trinidad and Tobago, we used Zoom Conferences to host remote participation (and one remote speaker) and webcast the event. This is the raw video from that Zoom Conference, broken up into two separate YouTube sessions.

Pre-Break Sessions

  • Opening Remarks
  • Welcome from the Internet Society Trinidad Chapter
  • The Business Case for DNSSEC
  • Panel: Routing Around Catastrophe – Securing BGP, Anti-spoofing, and More

Post-Break Sessions

  • Beyond the Tipping Point: Global Connectivity Three Years After World IPv6 Launch
  • IPv6 Success Stories– Network Operators Tell All!
  • Closing Remarks

Thank you to everyone who joined us in person in Port of Spain or via the webcast. If you attended, I hope you found the event enjoyable and informative. If you missed it, you can still catch up!

We’d love to hear your feedback on these sessions or the ION Conferences as a whole. We’ll work on slicing up the video archive into individual sessions and post a little more recap and commentary on each one later on, but in the meantime please watch or re-watch the sessions and let us know what you think.

Afilias logoWe would like to once again thank Afilias for supporting ION Trinidad and Tobago as an ION Conference series sponsor. Stay tuned for announcements about the rest of our 2015 ION Conference lineup, continuing next with ION San Francisco Bay Area in September, and of course we’ll be in touch on our social media channels until then.

(And, as always, if you’re eager to get started deploying these technologies, visit our “Start Here” page to find resources targeted at your type of organization or role.)
