IEEE SIGHT Grants

Many of the ISOC Chapters are either IEEE members or IEEE student members who are interested in the activities of the IEEE Sections in your country. In Canada our chapter is  Region 7 and  spans  all of Canada but it’s only  4% of the IEEE membership which is  over 400,000.

To learn more about  the largest  engineering membership organization  visit the IEEE website

For your information IEEE  has created a  program to establish  SIGHT  locations. Special  Interest  Groups on Humanitarian Technologies (SIGHT) (PDF)

Note  that  the mandate of IEEE  is to  bring the benefits of technology to the entire world.
